Kaitiakitanga

As Tangata Whenua our role as Kaitiaki or Guardians is critical to our relationship with our earth mother Papatuuaanuku and as such we can be world leaders in our sustainable practices within the home, on our marae and within business.  During our celebration of Matariki these sacred practices are being rekindled.

Below are some excellent sites that provide a raft of information on how to do your bit in protecting our greatest resource - Aotearoa - "Land of the Long White Cloud". (Many thanks to the Gecko Environment Group Victoria University for these hookups from their Urban Living Guide).
