Let seven talented brothers take you on a fantastic voyage.

The captain of your waka is Te Upoko o te Ika radio dj, Adrian Wagner, aka Moki. Your crew of entertainers tonight are a talented bunch of musicians and performers.

Singer, songwriter and playwright, Matiu Te Huki, is no stranger to the stage. Matiu has performed with such bands as Fat Freddy’s Drop, Anika Moa, DLT, Tiki Taane, Homefire Burning, and Basscamp. Matiu penned last year’s te reo Māori play for Taki Rua Productions.

Te Huki is currently a member of the band My Golden Soul.

Leon Wharekura got his first break with the Billy T James band as a 17 year old. Since then he’s performed in China and all over Australasia. Leon is a talented singer with an album behind him. Check out Leon’s website, http://leonwharekura.com/index.html

George Nepia aka Elija Few produced the seminal Tangiora compilation CDs back in the nineties. These CDs were an attempt by Te Māngai Pāho to bring waiata in te reo into the now, back then. Like his namesake he can sing. George can play a few instruments too.

Tyna Keelan aka Natural has been on the Aotearoa Hip Hop scene for a few years now. Tyna has collaborated with all the major Hip Hop artists of Aotearoa. Let Tyna mesmerize you with his ‘natural’ flow of rhymes and sweet melodies.

If you’re into Roots, Rock, Reggae Aotearoa style, check out rising star Regan Perry. At the age of 11, Regan was given a guitar by his grandfather. He jammed with everybody that he could, so that when he turned 13, he was performing live and wowing audiences. Regan has released his deut album, Wiser. Ok, including the Laughing Samoans actually makes it eight brothers. Who’s counting? Eteuati Ete and Tofiga Fepulea’I have been making audiences worldwide cry since 2003.
