Waka ama at its extreme. Nau mai haere mai koutou. To celebrate the dawning of a new year and the closing of an old one.

Fire in Ice Outrigger Waka ama Club are hosting the southern most long distance extreme waka ama outrigger event in Aotearoa. Come and join us - the venue is warm and sheltered with a tumeke view of the Harbour.

Watch some extreme people paddle in our extreme conditions. It might even make you want to take up a new challenge for Matariki! This is a Smokefree-Auahi Kore event.

Friday 11 June, 1.00pm - Men's & Women's 10km single race.

Saturday 12 June, 8.00am - start for all-day event including 18km and 21km races and 1000m sprints.
