Pecha Kucha is an informative and entertaining evening where 12 presenters show and speak to 20 projected images. Each image is only displayed for 20 seconds.

The unique Pecha Kucha format allows a diverse range of speakers to show their images and tell their stories. Pecha Kucha Nights are held in 300 cities around the world as a way of bringing people together and being inspired by their passion.

This will be a special event celebrating Puaka/Matariki. Our Puaka Matariki Pecha Kucha night will be the first of its kind, and marks a new partnership between the Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust, the Dunedin City Council and Puaka/Matariki Steering Roopu.

It promises to be a remarkable event where the prized skill of Maori oratory is tested by the 20:20 challenge.
