Ki-o-rahi is a fast paced and fun game, played with two teams on a circular playing field.

Played extensively by Maori before the arrival of the Europeans, Ki-o-rahi is now making a comeback in New Zealand and around the world. The games start with a brief presentation about the origins and the whakapapa of Ki-o-rahi, followed by an explanation of the rules. Participants are then dividied into teams and proceed to play the game, starting off slowly until everyone feels confident.

At the end of the game there will be some small prizes. Everyone is welcome.
